Isabel Restrepo-Sintas is a talented Colombian artist with multiple skills. As a painter, sculptor, and master glass artist, she has developed her art over the years and sensible experiences inspired by her relation with nature and life.

From a young age, Isabel has been passionate about art, poetry, and spirituality. She decides to study at the School of Fine Arts in Cali, Colombia, and later joins the prestigious School of Fine Arts “La Esmeralda” in Mexico City.

She embarks on a year-long cultural journey to visit European and Middle East greatest museums and galleries, immersing herself in major works within their cultural contexts.

In 1985, Isabel moved to Paris, where she works in the studio of sculptor Maxime Fillon. At the same time, she learned stained glass at the National School of Applied Arts and Crafts and obtained a degree in applied arts at the Sorbonne. Custom abstract stained glass works are created for private collectors.

In her sculpture, she explores various artistic techniques, including woodwork, stonework, and modeling. Her work is organic and we recognize always traces of figuration (couples, femininities and growing vegetable world)

Simultaneously she frequently practices watercolor, inks, and oil where the movement, the instant, and the fugitive expression are the main interest in her work.

Isabel participates in numerous symposiums, as well as solo and group exhibitions in France, Colombia, Cuba, Italy, Mexico, and the United States. Her works are primarily found in private collections.

Her creations are unique and timeless, offering a poetic and inspiring vision of the world around us. Often imbued with poetry and spirituality, her artworks are a true ode to nature and life.
